Re: Oanda Metatrader setup - in 32 Bit Program Dir, not 64 Bit Program Directory for Terminal.exe

Hi Dave, It appears that you may be attempting to launch MT5 rather than MT4. Please check in Metatrader's Help->About and ensure you are configuring the correct version. After that, please carefully refer to our manual and this video for an introductory guide on how to configure Tickstory. Thanks.

Re: Question About Data Import (MT4)

Hi EpicTrader, Please make sure you have selected the correct MT4 Installation and Data folder. The data folder configured in Tickstory File -> Settings -> MT4 Settings should be the same data folder you see when you go to Metatrader's File -> Open Data Folder . Once you have confirmed this, please ...

Re: MT4 Launcher

Hi iRick, If you would like to install MT4 and all your data in the same location (eg. D:\MT4), then Metatrader has a mode called "portable mode" which allows you to do this. If using Metatrader's portable mode, you will need to configure this in Tickstory by specifying the "/portable" command-line ...

Re: how to set up

Hi TraderConfirm, In Tickstory's File -> Settings -> MT4 Settings , select the " Installation Folder " which is the folder where you installed MT4. The Installation Folder is where the application (terminal.exe) is located and looks it is "C:\Program Files\XM Global" in your case. The other settings...

Re: Modeling quality n/a

Hi Kenmemh, With your active subscription, you have access to priority responses both on this forum and via email. Regarding your issue, it sounds like the most likely cause is that you have not either 1) exported to the correct MT4 data location or (more likely) 2) that you have not mapped your sym...

Re: CSV data format (Importing to Excel)

Hi GuidoTick, If the data is appearing correctly in Notepad, it sounds like there is some issue with your Excel format/import. Check that the period (".") is being considered as a decimal place rather than a separator, for example. All your numeric fields should be formatted as numbers in Excel. Tha...
