Share your EA tests on our forum!

Post by tickstory »

Want your EA tested by us?

If you have an EA that you would like tested, please submit it here along with test parameters (eg. EA .set files, pairs that it can be used on, etc). If it is paid/closed source, please provide us with a copy for testing via our Contact Us page. As part of our test, we will use Tickstory along with our Advanced Tester to provide an insight into the profitability of the strategy. Tickstory accepts no payment for the testing, however we may use affiliate links. All our reports will be displayed as-is without any favor, profitable or not. Our purpose is to demonstrate how Tickstory can be used to test your own strategies.

Want to share your own results and/or promote an EA?

Users are also permitted to submit their own strategy tests that are generated using Tickstory/Advanced Tester. If the EA is paid, then your own promotional/affiliate links are permitted. To maintain integrity of the submissions, we may ask you to provide additional proof of the results (such as providing us with version of the EA for testing and/or a link to live results). We reserve the right to remove the post if we suspect the results are doctored/manipulated.

Reports should be submitted to the Expert Advisor Tests section of our forum and should (at minimum) include:
  • A post title which denotes [Back-test] and then the platform name in brackets along with a descriptive EA name. eg. "[Back-test][MT4] Satoshi EA for Bitcoin"
  • The EA code (if open source) or the link of where to download/purchase the EA
  • Symbols & Time-frame used
  • MT4 Reports & Charts (should be 99.9% tick-quality back-tests generated with Tickstory)
  • Configuration files such as MT4 .set files and Advanced Tester .tpf settings (if applicable).
You are welcome to post any of your own analysis and conclusions.

Let the back-testing begin!
